About Mia
Mia Yang grew up in Taipei City, Taiwan. Mia studied art and graphic design in collage. In her spare time, she studied Fashion Modelling, Design and Drawing which had a huge effect on her working in fashion. Mia moved to London and soon began assisting established make up artists. At the same time, she completed her professional make-up training at London Collage of Fashion. At the age of 22, she began working on a freelance basis for editorials and commercial clients from international.
Mia’s work can be seen on the pages of Vogue Taiwan, ELLE Taiwan, Marie Claire UK, Bazaar China, Nylon America, I-D Magazine, Vice UK, etc.
She moved to New York and Los Angeles in 2011 and works throughout England, Taiwan, China and the USA. She is specialized in fashion editorials, commercials and celebrities. She is currently based in NYC.
